The 6th China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) and China Power International Cooperation Forum & Expo were held by China Overseas Development Association and China Development Bank on October 23 to 24, 2014 in Beijing Exhibition Center. Beijing Sifang Automation Co., Ltd. was invited to give a presentation on the internationalization and global market development.
As one of the main forums, "International Cooperation on Smart Grid and Distributed Generation" discussed the international trend of the smart grid and distributed generation adoption, the smart grid project experience and smart equipment research and development. Mr. Zhu Chaohui, the vice president of Sifang, gave a speech on the "Global Opportunities, Challenges and Strategy of Chinese Smart Grid Automation & Control Industry". Other speakers included the officials from the National Energy Administration, SGCC(State Grid Corporation of China), China Southern Power Grid Company, and scholars & professionals from The Energy Strategy Research Center of NDRC(National Development and Reform Commission), Tianjin University etc. Several managers and staff from Sifang international business unit, marketing department, Research and Development and information center attended the meeting.
The aim of this Fair and forum is to build a comprehensive and global industry platform for utilities, research institute, universities and suppliers, from China and internationals. There were five forums: China Power International Cooperation Forum, Smart Grid and Distributed Generation International Cooperation Forum, International Cooperation Forum of Electric Vehicle, International Cooperation Forum of Clean Energy and International Cooperation Forum of Electric Power Industry of Coal and Natural Gas. By the way of launching five forums and exhibitions related, this meeting made the investment projects and technical exchanges as the core, promotion on investment cooperation as the goal, projects docking as the gripper. Through the integration of industry resources, promote the smart grid, distributed generation, electric cars, solar energy, wind energy, nuclear energy, biomass, coal and natural gas industries to achieve docking and exchanges in the areas of information, capital, technology and talents. By inviting the experts and scholars in the field of electric power industry, financial institutions, investment service mediation, regulators, and other fields, to discuss China power international cooperation trend and the way of development and innovation under the new circumstances and new pattern of the globalization, to guide the electric power enterprise to expand international market in the way of whole industry chain and the whole value chain.
The 6th COIFAIR and China Power International Cooperation Forum & Expo became the important and comprehensive industry platform to collect technique flow, information flow, capital flow for energy & power international cooperation.
